Obligatory prelude: I've done a picture-a-day project for the past couple years. I usually debate its continuation annually, but it was a no-brainer this year. This series keeps me posting when nothing else will write itself. I will be trying to post more regularly otherwise! I nearly tripped over two fawns sleeping in the graveyard. It took all I had not to scoop them up and cuddle them. Momma deer showed up and I backed away slowly out of there.

I'm so thankful to have a family that enjoys reading. We're constantly recommending and borrowing books between ourselves. On my nightstand alone, I have a book from my dad and a book from my brother-in-law. Not pictured are the several I swiped from my sister.

We found a couple small puddles around the house, in weird places where it wouldn't be a rogue ice cube melt. I caught the culprit with his tail in the water dish. And he didn't care.
