Picture This: Week 22, 2016.

Obligatory prelude: I've done a picture-a-day project for the past couple years. I usually debate its continuation annually, but it was a no-brainer this year.  This series keeps me posting when nothing else will write itself.  I will be trying to post more regularly otherwise! Besides, as last year, I like it as a part of posting the ordinary and capturing daily life. Check out past posts through the picture-a-day tag.

She's back!

May 24, 2016

Long overdue drinks with one of the bests.

May 25, 2016

Stumbling into fawns may be my secret power.

May 26, 2016

So much for keeping our clothes out of his reach.

May 27, 2016

Fireworks are my favorite part of baseball.

May 28, 2016

Good pizza and company at a new local gem.

May 29, 2016

We did it! We pulled off a surprise 35th anniversary party for Zach's parents.  So, so happy with the turnout.

May 16, 2016

Yoga made better with new leggings and painted toes.  My toes are nasty after the marathon.

May 17, 2016

I nearly tripped over two fawns sleeping in the graveyard. It took all I had not to scoop them up and cuddle them.  Momma deer showed up and I backed away slowly out of there.

May 18, 2016

I'm so thankful to have a family that enjoys reading.  We're constantly recommending and borrowing books between ourselves. On my nightstand alone, I have a book from my dad and a book from my brother-in-law.  Not pictured are the several I swiped from my sister.

May 19, 2016

We found a couple small puddles around the house, in weird places where it wouldn't be a rogue ice cube melt.  I caught the culprit with his tail in the water dish.  And he didn't care.

May 20, 2016

Michigan.

May 21, 2016

As a party planner extraordinaire, it is required to test all equipment before the party starts. Here, Zach tests the toddler bounce house before my uncle's 60th surprise party, and is very uncoordinated.

May 22, 2016

Packed in with treasures after a trip to the grandparents.

May 9, 2016

It appears my phone was hacked by two boys modeling.

May 10, 2016

It was raining and cold, but look at that cute little bee!

May 11, 2016

I took this because it appears this may be a virus, as Apple support couldn't verify the "passcode requirement," but now I'm waiting to be chastised by my sister for so many open notifications.

May 12, 2016

This was a low point of a lat work night

May 13, 2016

I would say I'm anxious to see if the S'well lives up to expectations, but truly, I've never met a water bottle I didn't like. Especially in a birch tree design.

May 14, 2016

Henry, claiming her spot early.

May 15, 2016

In a weird take on hobbies, Zach and I stopped at a couple graveyards tonight to take pictures.  The gravestones are transcribed for genealogy websites.  This is something only my mum could have started our involvement in.

May 2, 2016

The day after the marathon, I was in Orlando for training.  Look at this fancy hotel TV mirror!

May 3, 2016

Late night breakfast.

May 4, 2016

I missed a picture Wednesday.  Totally missed! My flights were delayed and terrible (I had someone next to me puke, it was turbulent, it's a miracle I didn't puke).  Copper sleeping on the furry throw made up for it in the morning.

May 5, 2016

We learned how to jump a car, but also that that meant the car wouldn't always be successfully started.

May 6, 2016

I'm very happy with the way these bags turned out for our mums.  I coated the bottoms in a rubber coating so they would be more durable, and that in itself was a two-week process between finding multiple cans of the coating and taping/re-taping for a straight line.  Contrary to the tutorial, I found that painter's tape worked better than gaffer's tape.

May 7, 2016

Copper got hurt again.  He was so stumbly coming out of his anesthesia, laying down to snack was the only way.

May 8, 2016

Sampling the Pittsburgh craft brew scene between Mother's Day happenings.

Picture This: Week 18, 2016.

Pre-obligatory prelude: These last two weeks have been BANANAS.  Apologies for being so late!

April 25, 2016

Morning light and shenanigans.

April 26, 2016

We went to the Justin Bieber concert.  It was as magical and weird as you would expect.  What I did not expect was to feel as worried about Justin's well-being as I did - he did not look happy and the fan-girding was insane.  He's super talented, though, and it was entertaining.

April 27, 2016

It's called pityriasis rosea and it's the weirdest virus I have ever had.

April 28, 2016

Last run before the marathon!

April 29, 2016

Henry, always the cuddle monster.

April 30, 2016

We fundraised for the Animal Rescue League as a part of the marathon and received these sweet bags!
