Picture This: Week 14, 2016.

Obligatory prelude: I've done a picture-a-day project for the past couple years. I usually debate its continuation annually, but it was a no-brainer this year.  This series keeps me posting when nothing else will write itself.  I will be trying to post more regularly otherwise! Besides, as last year, I like it as a part of posting the ordinary and capturing daily life. Check out past posts through the picture-a-day tag.

I write these captions in retrospect of the week.  Monday morning, I remember thinking, "spring is finally here!"  It was the first bloom of some daffodils as Henry kept watch while the sun rose.

Tuesday was our last Cavs game as mini-season ticket holders.

My birthday! In true fashion, Zach got everyone a present.  The cats can be my mini marsupials now! Henry didn't love it.  Copper does, but he was hurt at the time and we were letting him rest.

I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing - I always forget pictures during great nights with friends.  Mostly, I take it as a good sign, not being involved in my phone.  For blog fodder, it means pictures of my room before I fully nod off. We rearranged our room, and I really like the light cast over the pond in the evening.  It brings it to life even more.

She got us, good.

April 2, 2016

It was a productive day and a blind switch-up in the master.  Plus, a new surface to decorate, with more than piled clothes, I'll venture.

And here's why my first post is so humorous in retrospect.  Most of the overnight snow melted off, but the daffodils were devastated.
